Between 2015 and 2024, I worked inside of our institutions, teaching acupuncture ethics, jurisprudence, and biomedicine courses at NUNM and OCOM.

I serve as Clinical Program and Training Director for the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal, where acupuncturists function as medically literate primary care providers in rural settings. During the pandemic, I downsized my practice and now see patients in a yurt clinic in Oregon.

Since the closure of OCOM, I’ve been tracking the way our accreditor, the examiner and our schools have worked collectively to create and maintain the current debt to earnings crisis and likely closure of the acupuncture pipeline in Oregon.

I’m also a graduate carrying over $500,000 in student loan debt and a member of the OAA and ASA.
